On Friday December 1, 2023, Local Positivity had it's December Second Chance Computer Initiative handout. We were able to give 4 laptops and 2 printers to individuals in VA Cares post-incarcerated program. Thank you to Experimax for the donations of the laptops. And, thank you CertaScan for your donations of the printers.
Individuals in the post- incarcerated sector have improved their lives with the donations of the laptops. With the laptops they have the independence to do what they need to make their lives better. We are following up with these individuals. They have gone on to gain employment, reentered school, and/or start businesses.
Local Positivity is very thankful for the opportunity to provide the resources needed to improve lives.
